About Club A

Club A was started by the mother of a child with Down syndrome and Autism. Our family struggles finding places in the community where we can take our son – to eat, to get his hair cut (trauma!), to get his teeth cleaned, to vacation.

We all get emails asking “Do you know a good fill-in-the-blank?” People used to go to support groups for that kind of information, but these days, many people don’t go out of the house for networking.

So, we decided to create this online community to share information and to acknowledge those businesses and individuals who welcome us.

In so doing, we also build our power in the marketplace, while creating a more welcoming world.
